I purchased a TRU Uniden 4485 Telephone System a few years ago. Well during a move, the cordless phones got switched from Tone (dialing) to Pulse (dialing).

I researched the manual completely. On page 14, there are instructions on how to convert between Pulse and Tone by following the Menu Options. Well, that is all really good information, except for the fact that the Menu items on the telephone are: Ringer Volume, Ringer Tone, Distinct Ring, Caller ID AND Language. The manual has an option for Dial Mode, but my phone only has an option for Language instead of Dial Mode.

I have tried calling, emailing, and searching on the Internet, but there is no information about how to convert the phone back to Tone.

Companies that fail to provide proper solutions for the products they sell should not be in business.

Product or Service Mentioned: Uniden Tru 4485 Landline Phone.

I didn't like: Customer service --no existant, No customer service person or tecnician.
